We will be holding our Harvest service this year on Sunday 23rd September. We are thankful for Rev. Doug Cooney who will once again be our guest speaker on this day.
As part of our practical offering, this year we are supporting Manchester based charity Barnabus, who have been providing life-changing support to homeless people in our city for the last 25 years.
As part of their work, Barnabus run The Beacon, which is a drop-in centre located on Bloom Street in the city centre. To support them in their work here, we are asking for donations of the following items:
Long-life milk, long-life orange juice, sugar, coffee, cereal bars, cereal, cordial, tinned foods, tinned ham, jars of hot dogs, vegetables, rice pudding, packet super noodles, pot noodles, biscuits, chocolate, jam, chocolate spread and peanut butter.
Disposable razors, shaving foam, roll-on deodorant.
Jeans (waist sizes 26 to 32), belts, joggers, tracksuit bottoms and tops, sweatshirts, hoodies, t-shirts, shorts, coats, trainers, pac-a-macs, men’s boxer shorts (medium), socks etc
On behalf of Barnabus,
Thank you for what you could give, in Jesus name!
