SOME FAQS

Thinking Of Visiting Us?

You can find out what’s on over the next week or so by viewing our weekly newsletter. Here are a few answers to questions you may have. Please contact us if you have any further queries. We look forward to welcoming you soon!

No! We are a friendly congregation and aim to give you a warm welcome but we certainly won’t intentionally do anything to make you feel uncomfortable. If you have never visited a church before and are feeling nervous, there is no reason to be. God does not expect you to be perfect before you come to church, and neither do we.

We have improved our church building to provide barrier-free access to all. Parking is available within our private car park and we have accessible toilets just off the foyer as you enter through the front door. We print off the words to the songs and readings in large type for those that request this.

We have our own private car park next to the building, which you can access directly from Wendover Road. When this fills up there is usually plenty of parking available on the streets around the church.

We sometimes hold an all-age service, but after meeting together at 10:30am, most weeks children are invited to join our Kids Church from around 10.45am onwards. A crèche is available for little ones during this time. However,  you are more than welcome to keep your children with you during the worship service if you (or they) feel more comfortable doing that.

There are no assigned seats, please sit where you feel most comfortable.

If you have a Bible and would like to bring it, that would be great. If you don’t yet have a Bible or forgot yours, there are Bibles available in the sanctuary.

We sing a range of worship songs from traditional hymns to more contemporary songs, depending on the type of service and time of year.

Everyone is encouraged to stay around after the service for fellowship together over tea and coffee.

People have told us they felt comfortable and welcomed when visiting in the past. If you don’t yet have a church home, or are thinking of visiting us, we would love to welcome you this Sunday. And if you do visit, please say “hi,” after the service and tell us that you found out about our church on our website. If you have any further queries not answered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
